Reading Art to Name Emotions
How can you accurately identify emotions through art?
Students read and respond to works of art with the goal of labeling human emotions using a Mood Meter to help accurately identify the specific emotions they see in artworks. They discuss with other students the clues they use to do this. Note: this lesson builds receptive literacy in art and emotions but is not a lesson producing or creating art. |
